to thesis writing!!!
what every young adventurer needs to know! since it can be a long perilous voyage to grayskull and become a master (of the universe).
so, step by step:
1) make an outline, everything is under control
2) play farm hustle
3) write a sentence
4) play some frog-jump game
5) write a couple more sentences
6) listen to hockey game, only write when the oilers win since your fate is tied with their's
7) get to stage 10 of frogger.
8) get to level 9 of farm hustle
9) feeling good about being a master of the computer games, tackle the thesis: drink lots of pots of tea and don't stop writing until the forms get signed.

that's about it. as some of you are on the same voyage to grayskull (and beyond!) i hope my words of advice can be of some use.

and when that's all done, celebrate with BEER! yum yum.

i had my first "goodbye forever" today.
Mr. "Ben" creepy pants is going off on fun adventures and by the time he gets back i should be gone.

and there are going to be more "goodbye forever"s. that gives me a pouty face.
that's the bitter.

the sweet: if i'm so sad to leave my mcgill-y friends behind, we MUST of had a whole bunch of fun in the last 22 months.

feels like just a few weeks ago that creepy pants crawled into my office wearing some strange mask and just being CREEPY. or tried to drive me crazy with random claude cohen tannoudji posters popping out everywhere. the time has just gone by and i don't think i've noticed.

perhaps i should thesis, instead of thinking of all the people i'm going to miss as a consequence of handing in my thesis....

Birthday!!!

Yes, yes, it is true, my birthday has come and gone a while ago. BUT there are some birthday presents WORTH waiting for. Especially when it's a whole bunch of chocolate arriving in the middle of stress-ville. I will finally get to have some tim tams after helping ken take oh so many pictures of them at Christmas time, but never getting the prize. These dangerous tim tams are stacked on top of three bags of mini kitkat bars!!!!!! mango flavored! and grape and green tea! FUN! there were oh so many treats!!! yay! for having a brother that knew to wait until the end of my thesis writing to send me pressies!

the best part was the mix cd!!! Thank you ever so much ken!!!! perhaps this will get you an acknowledgement!!! tea hee!

today was an exciting day.

and xmm hates me. but i will get my revenge....
in the mean time i think i will have a dangerous laison with a tim tam.

and we are not talking about hockey. GAH!
